Spicy Keema

OMG DELICIOUS! My first time trying this was when I was about 16. I went to a local Indian-Pakistani restaurant with few friends and they ordered this plate in particular. Man o man I was hooked!!! As you know from my previous blogs I am a super picky eater but my taste buds are always wanting something NEW! This plate can be pretty pricy at restaurants so I ended up running into a friends mom and asked her if she could help me with a traditional recipe (then of course I edited it to my liking)!


  • 1 Pound Ground Beef/ Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 packet of SHAN Seekh Kabob Spice (included picture below)
  • 4 tablespoons Raw Papaya Paste (tenderizer)
  • 1/2 Finely chopped Small onion
  • 1/2 Serrano Pepper Thinly sliced (1 whole for extra spicy, 1/4 for medium spice)
  • 2 tablespoons Margarine/Butter
  • 4 Tablespoons Vegetable/ Canola Oil
  • Cilantro (enough to garnish)
  • *Optional add crushed peppers 1/2 teaspoon
  • Naan (bread) to eat with the Keema


  • Mix the meat with the Shan Spice, raw papaya, Mix well.
  • Place in the refrigerator Marinate minimum 1 hour


  • In a pan on medium heat melt the butter and warm up the oil mixing it together. Add the marinated meat and spread it on the pan. Lower the heat a bit and cook it using a spoon to smash it into small pieces as its cooking. The texture will become super smooth and tiny.
  • Once the meat changes texture and looks cooked top off with the garnish serrano and onions. Lower heat to low and close the pan with a lid and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • I do not add salt because the seasoning already has it (you can add salt if you like), once the meat is cooked and onions are transparent mix well and then top with cilantro! Ready to serve!
  • *Tip: you can drip some fresh lemon juice on top if you like
  • *Tip: you can also add 1 boiled potato cut into huge pieces or 1 boiled egg slices

*Eat with fresh tortillas from your local grocery store or Naan which can also be found in your local grocery stores (Naan is a delicious bread top it with butter after its cooked) look at pictures below!


Hope this helps for a quick easy meal that is delicious! All my friends love it! Below are recipes I make from leftovers and other ways to eat it!!

1. Keema Cheese Quesadilla- Flour tortilla add warmed Keema to half of the tortilla, add shredded cheese on top (I used mexican style). Fold in half and cook until a bit golden on both sides and crispy. Eat with sour cream or without it and it will still taste great!

*Tip: IF you like Spicy, I get a tablespoon of sour cream, add Sriracha Sauce to it, not to much just enough to sprinkle the top of the sour cream with the sour cream still  showing, mix well. I LOVE HOW THIS TASTE, give it a try!

2. Keema Sandwich- Grab buns or 2 slices of bread. Butter the outside of the bun or bread place the butter side down on low heated pan. Add a layer of the keema, top with cheese, and the top bun or toast with the butter facing up. Turn the heat up to medium after one minute flip it let the butter side cook. Do this until both sides are crispy or golden. Ready to serve! Tip: You can add anything you like I usually add onions for a crisp before adding the bread on top. You can add raw jalapeños, onions, cilantro, lemon juice etc.

3. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE! I make some of my garlic pasta. Which, I think I posted the recipe before but to recap. You will need 3-4 tablespoons Olive oil, 3 cloves thinly sliced Garlic, Place the oil on low heat in a pan, add the garlic, stir until the room starts smelling like garlic *before it browns* turn off the stove *optional add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed peppers if you like*, make sure the oil is still hot and immediately add it to your cooked, drained, pasta (1/2 bag for this recipe, boiled in salted water)! Stir well. Add salt and black pepper to taste. (I usually sprinkle black pepper on top, and stir about 1/2 teaspoon salt then add more as needed) Add grated parmesan cheese about 3-4 tablespoons, mix well. Now add 1/2 cup- 1 cup your left over or fresh keema and mix well.  You can add more if you like I just prefer pasta over meat! Stir in some fresh thin cut onions and some thinly sliced jalapeños or serrano peppers . Cook for 5 minutes on low top with fresh shredded cheese and serve!

*My friends daughter Nia lovessss this! Every time I make it I automatically think of her. She barely eats anything but when I make this pasta she sits and calmly eats! Nia is 2 years old and as you should know many 2 year olds love playing hate eating! The picture I have posted is Chicken Keema with the pasta! Enjoy 🙂




Nilla Wafers Cool Whip Banana Pies

One word, Delicious! Super Simple Recipe Give it a shot you will not regret it! I usually make 12 individual sized pies and share them among friends and family. By the end of the day they are always claimed 🙂 Perfect for a dinner gathering dessert!


  • 1 pack of Jell-O Banana Cream Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 bananas cut into slices
  • 1 ready to use Nilla Pie Crust (6oz) or 2 packs of 6 Keebler Mini Ready Crust Graham
  • 1 cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
  • Nabisco Nilla Wafers


  1. Place the sliced bananas on the bottom of the pie crust(s) evenly save some slices about 1/2 a banana.
  2. Place a few Nabisco Nilla Wafers in a ziploc bag and crush them into pieces. Sprinkle evenly on top of the banana slices.


  1. Mix pudding mix and milk in a medium sauce pan on medium heat. Stirring constantly until it boils. Once it boils turn off the heat, continue stirring the pudding will thicken.
  2. Once pudding is ready scoop it into the pie crust on top of the banana slices and Nilla crushed wafers, evenly and do not over top it because we will still need to add a topping!
  3. Add the remainder of 1/2 the banana slices on top of the pie, and then let it cool down for about 30 minutes to 1 hour in the fridge. (make sure to cover the pie with something do not place it open into the fridge or it will become dry)
  4. Remove from the fridge, add the thawed cool whip on top then sprinkle with remainder of vanilla wafers.
  5. Its Ready! Store extra in container should be good for 2 days!






I am a Realtor in Houston, Texas. Therefore gasoline comes and goes quickly. Driving around to show luxury apartments, homes, lands, and commercial properties makes gas a major expense for me each month. I am going to explain three ways for you to save money on fuel. It is super easy as long as you have a smart phone and rewards card!

  1. Download T-mobile App, if your a T-mobile customer ONLY! Every Tuesday open the app and press play now, get promotional free products or coupons for Groupon, Baskin Robins, Subway, and other places. Also, keep a look out for “Shell Gas Station Fuel Rewards” click on the Shell Gas Station logo in “My stuff” and scroll down press “Redeem”. Use the code on Fuel Rewards app (download it) and save .25 cents a GALLON at ANY SHELL gas station! Make sure you download the Fuel Rewards app register with your phone number! At shell just click on fuel rewards option and input your phone number.
  • *IF your not a Tmobile Customer go ahead and still download the Fuel Rewards app, You will still be able to save .05 cents a gallon and each time you use premium gas you save .10 cents your next purchase!

2. Download Kroger’s App and get a Kroger’s Shoppers Card ( you can use your alternate id, which is your phone number) Every 100 points you save .10 cents a gallon, and if you download the app and click on the coupons for 2x Fuel Points and 4x Fuel Points your likely to even save more! 100 points times 4 equals 400 points or .40 cents off per gallon! If you do not shop at Kroger’s often then go ahead and just get the rewards shopper card thats free and automatically save .03 cents a gallon for using it! You can also use your rewards card from Kroger’s on Shell GAS!

3. Download Randall’s App and get a Randalls Rewards Card: Just like Kroger’s the more you shop at Randall’s the more you save on gas. The randall’s rewards points can be used at any Chevron as well. However, if you do not shop at Randall’s often get a Rewards card and save .03 cents a galloon.

Want to save some money on Groceries and Daily Hygiene Products?

I mean OF COURSE you want to save money on groceries! If you live where there is a Kroger, HEB, CVS, or Walgreens download each of their apps on your smartphone.

  1. Krogers 
  • Download the App
  • Get a Kroger’s Rewards card get it linked with your phone number
  • Every Friday on the Kroger’s App, Coupons, There will be a FREE FRIDAY Product ranges from Coffee Creamers, Chocolate, New Chips, so on. Absolutely free!
  • Are you to lazy to look through stacks of coupons from a Sunday newspaper? In the Kroger’s App, Click Coupons, and search for the items you will be purchasing and download the coupons. Save on cheese, sour cream, butter, ice cream, cooking oil, tide detergent, cleaning products and so on! “Load to card” the coupon you would like to use!
  • At the top there is a tab that says “My Coupons” you can keep track of all the coupons are useful for you.
  • If you haven’t tried Kroger brand items I must share their Cheese is good, Sour Cream, Cooking oils, Water, Aluminum Foil, Frozen Potatoes such as fries, tatter tots. So do not hesitate to give it a chance and save some additional money!
  • Kroger FUEL! Kroger has a coupon available for 2x fuel or 4x fuel when you purchase groceries on Friday, Saturday or Sundays! So if you spent $50 on groceries you just got 100 points if you had clipped the 2x coupon. This saves you 10 cents a gallon at the Kroger Fuel Station! The more points you gather the cheaper your Fuel! The discounts can be applied at Shell gas station too! Just make sure to use your Kroger’s Rewards card or alternate phone number!

2.   H-E-B

  • Download the H-E-B app
  • Go to coupons and star clipping them, many Sunday News Paper coupons available and more! Most coupons you will NOT even find in stores! When you are checking out at the store, where you scan your credit card type in your number, and pin if applicable. The items you got with coupons you have clipped will be discounted.
  • A lot of people have no clue about this! Even the workers are like wooo how did you do that? Do not miss out save on everyday items like shaving razors, deodorant, hair color, shampoo, and Groceries!!

3.   CVS

  •  Download the CVS Pharmacy App
  • My deals & Rewards: send coupons directly to your shopping card, which if you do not have one sign up for one! Whenever you checkout and you purchased items with a coupon that was sent to your card tell the cashier to apply the coupon.
  • Get a free curbside pick up promotion $10 items for $10 off or sometimes $15 items for $10 off. I mean who can beat FREE!?
  • Make sure you get a shopping card, if you fill in 5 prescriptions using your shoppings card you will receive $5 in extra bucks to spend in stores 🙂
  • Also, their is a machine you can scan your card at CVS stores it prints coupons for weekly deals. You can get free items or extremely discounted items each week! You can get free tooth paste or extremely cheap, cheap hair color, shampoos, and Sodas!

4. Walgreens

  • Download Walgreens App, Get a shoppers rewards card, link your number to the card so you can just input your number each time instead of struggling for your card. (Which you can do this for all the stores listed above *H-E-B has no rewards card only digital coupons)
  • Once the App launches press “Weekly Ad & Coupons” as all others store listed Walgreens also offers most Sunday news paper coupons plus extra! Start “Clipping” the coupons that fit what you are looking for!
  • Also, at Walgreens you get points for your purchases, certain items will have extra 1,000 points so on! Every 5,000 points you earn its equivalent to $5 off.

These are 4 ways to start saving you some extra money to invest into something more worth it. FREE is unbeatable! Give these Apps an opportunity and hope they help you as much as they helped me! Have any questions feel free to ask!

Delicious Chicken & Garlic Pasta

I am one super picky eater. I love eating small portions but full of varieties. Blend food is just not me! My grilled seasoned chicken patties are fun for all ages! My friends 2 year old daughter loves it with the side of my simple garlic pasta and she barely touches food!

So we all know seasoning is a major key! Here are the seasonings I used, you can leave out whatever you do not want to use!

  • Lemon Pepper: 1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cajun Seasoning: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Hamburger Seasoning: (Optional) 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chicken Fajita Seasoning/ Adams Fajita Seasoning: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Onion Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Paprika: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Parmesan Cheese: 2 packets from Papa Johns lol or more like 1 tablespoon 🙂

Mix all these seasonings together and set it aside.

Chicken Prep: (takes about 10-20 minutes)

  1. Cold 1/2 lb Ground Chicken (DO NOT RINSE)
  2. Get a rectangle piece of wax paper on one of the edges put 1 teaspoon of margarine
  3. Rub some margarine on both hands, grab some meat and create balls, then flatten them in your hands, place them on the wax paper, repeat until no meat remains.
  4. If any extra margarine dab it on the meat patties. (Note: I do not make huge patties I make them about 2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick)
  5. Now sprinkle your seasoning on all the patties on one side. Leave 1/2 of the seasoning for the other side.
  6. Warm up a pan with 1 tablespoon butter on medium high heat.
  7. Add the seasoned side patties onto the pan, now season the chicken that is not seasoned yet. (Make sure evenly coated)
  8. Let one side cook on medium high heat for about 4-5 minutes then flip the patties and cook an additional 4-5 minutes. If you want it to be a little crispy cook until it darkens.
  9. After both sides looked cooked to your desire optional garnish with onion slices and cook an additional one minute. Its Ready!


On the side with my chicken patties I love Buttery Corn: (cook time: 3 minutes)

  1. Can of sweet corn
  2. Drain corn and place it in a pan with melted butter ( 1 teaspoon)
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium high heat, add salt and pepper to taste! I like using seasoned salt! Ready!

Also, I add my simple garlic pasta: (total cook time: 15 minutes)

  1. 1/2 packet of spaghetti broken in half, cooked in salted water, drained.
  2. Cut 3 cloves of garlic into thin slices
  3. Heat up 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, add the garlic slices, fry until a heavy scent of garlic travels, add crushed pepper (optional), before garlic burns transfer the garlic and oil mix to the pasta, add salt and pepper to taste (1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper or less is what I use), and 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese. Mix well. Ready to serve!

Louisiana Cajun Chicken Pasta

It was December 21, 2016, a good friend’s 21st Birthday. She decided to have her birthday gathering at Cheesecake Factory. THANK GOD, she did! As she ordered her dinner for her birthday i knew it would be a great choice. 1) It’s your birthday of course you want the best dish on the Menu 2) You picked the restaurant because it is your favorite! Bam i did it I went ahead and ordered Louisiana Cajun Chicken Pasta! Can we say DELICIOUS!? I was obsessed, and ended up going non stop next few days. However, it got real pricy and pretty steep on the pockets. Just about $20 a plate including tip! So after non-stop research and attempts of finding the best recipe. I ended up coming up with the recipe below and it is the perfect amount of ingredients from my point of view! It wasn’t as oily as cheese cake factory but definitely tasty! 🙂 Your family and friends will love this recipe give it a shot!

Cajun Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Small Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • Small Yellow Bell Pepper chopped
  • Small Red Onion 3/4 chopped
  • 1 1/4 cup thinly sliced Mushrooms
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth (if vegan use the low sodium Vegetable stock)
  • 1 cup (1/2 pint) Whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh Basil, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan

For the pasta:

  • On Medium High Heat Boil 14 cups of water in a Huge Pasta pot add 1 tablespoon salt, once water boils add 1 full bag of bow tie pasta. Boil for 11-12 minutes, drain. Once the pasta is ready the sauce should be ready as well. Note: the moment you start making the sauce, have the water boiling for the pasta.

How to make the Cajun Sauce:

  1. Add 1 tablespoon butter to heavy skillet on medium high heat, add red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, red onions, thinly sliced mushrooms. Stir and cook until crisp and tender about 4 minutes.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, and minced garlic. Stir, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add 1 cup whipping cream, and 1 cup low sodium chicken stock. Simmer until sauce reheats and thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add 3 tablespoon thinly sliced Basil, Reduce heat a little less than medium high and Sprinkle and stir the parmesan cheese in to fully incorporate into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer. Sauce will reduce and thicken.

Parmesan Chicken Ingredients:

  • 4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 3 Boneless Chicken Breast

Cooking Chicken:

  1. Wash and Drain chicken breast. Pound with a meat beater until 1/4 inch thin or thinner, the more thin the better it will be.
  2. If the pieces get very huge, cut each piece into 4 pieces.
  3. Mix Breadcrumbs, 1/4 parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoon flour together.
  4. Place milk in a dipping plate
  5. Dip chicken in bread crumb mix then milk then back in the breach crumb mix.
  6. In a fry pan with 4 tablespoons vegetable oil heat on medium heat. Add the dipped chicken to it and Fry until golden crisp, add more oil as needed. Once cooked well remove and drain chicken. Keep warm, try to serve immediately.
